Lorca City participates for the first time in the European Days of Jewish Culture, thanks to the exhibition "Lights of Sefarad Lorca" and the rich Jewish heritage found in the Castle.
The main objective of this event to be held simultaneously on September 6 in Europe, is to offer the public the chance to discover the Jewish heritage, synagogues, cemeteries, ritual baths, and traditions.
The program presented by the Spanish Jewish Network "Sefarad" will include activities organized specially for the occasion.
Lorca Taller del Tempo X works in the European Day of Jewish culture with guided tours to the exhibition "Lights Lorca Sefarad" along with the Visitor Center and a stroll through the old medieval city wall.
These visits with free entry to the exhibition can be made on the morning of Sunday, September 6, after booking information phone 902 40 00 47.
This open day Jewish heritage takes place simultaneously in most of Europe this year focuses on Jewish holidays and traditions.
The Spanish cities are members of the Network of Spanish Jewry "Sefarad" and only five cities, among which is Lorca, have been admitted as partners in this occasion.
