Neighbors, and Paquera paquera, dear friends, good morning everyone.
I return to La Paca, and back on a beautiful September morning, a prelude to the festivities, to comply with tradition and begin a very special days for everyone, so these dates are represented in the mind and the hearts of those who live here and all we have a special relationship with the land north of Lorca.
Some weeks ago I predicted that it would me who have the privilege of practicing as a preacher of the holidays and born to dedicate these words of appreciation and affection for you all keep.
I am grateful, as always I have to be pregnant with Paquera.
But having to make this proclamation is also a nice headache for this humble servant.
How could condense into a few minutes all that your parish awakens in me?
How could summarize in a few lines so much lived in La Paca, many times, so many experiences and many friendships forged over the years?
I thought of this day in this proclamation, and was gradually articulated in my mind the many things I wanted to tell you.
But a casual day came to arouse many feelings I thought the sweet sleep over the years.
It was about three weeks ago, on that fateful day on August 17 when the hail gripped northern gardens Lorca.
That same evening, just down the hail, I moved to check the damage to the affected areas, beginning with Avilés, where damage, as you know, have been tremendous, unfortunately.
After Coy and Doña Inés visited, and by then had discovered that the storm had affected more than one might think at first.
Then I took the road to check damage in La Paca.
And driving around here, with fear in my body, I came to mind images of those dramatic years ago, the memories we've all tried to forget the earthquake that caused so much pain to this land.
And I remembered the damage, which means losing everything, what is that chance end the dreams and hopes.
I came to La Paca and saw with satisfaction that the hail was barely celebrated serious damage and that this time the bad luck would have passed by.
Sorry to be speaking to you in these very sad on a day like today you have to be happy, but my satisfaction was great to see that La Paca was not damaged, just as my anger was great to see what had happened in Avilés.
But I remembered that day after the earthquake of La Paca.
I remembered how you joined neighbors to succeed.
I remembered how there was not one, not a single paquera face of adversity, because once again demonstrate that the Paca not a people but a large family where all help you, no matter what.
I remembered your unit when claiming compensation for the damage and when to pull ahead, to get water back to normal and that normality back to dominate the day to day in La Paca.
Therefore, our neighbors in Avilés, before serious damage, they have to follow your example based on the unity and the efforts of all people, because that is the best way to fight against adversity.
My advice can only be this: remember what happened in La Paca and remember how they solved the problems.
But the truth is that what did not surprise anyone who knows the nature of the Paquera and Paquera, you know your will for rowing in the same direction and thus overcome adversity.
If a server, which issues you neighborhood and affinity known for decades and is proud to have many friends from La Paca, if a server had to single out a single trait of yours, no doubt point out your unit, which is what makes you special.
Because La Paca is a district more than Lorca, but over the years has become an important town, known and admired.
On an ancient history spanning from the Bronze Age and from the Culture Argar, as evidenced by the deposits of the Castle, past the Roman rule and ascending through the centuries, La Paca has got Today oozing life, and becoming a charming and friendly place, hospitable and friendly, a place where it is good to be.
And it is because you and the neighbors, the real culprits that we all like so much being here.
I, as I said, I have many many years enjoying your land and your company, and is this a treat not to change anything in the world.
But there is a date to visit La Paca is more imperative than ever this holiday in honor of the Virgen de las Huertas celebrating.
Your character makes you to be able to perform a celebration as important as this, where everything goes wonderfully well and that anyone, neighbor or friend, or foreign visitors, it always happens luxury.
If all you do well, there were going to be less in these happy days.
Also, know how masterfully combine the two parts that compose this conclusion: the leisure and feeling.
Because there will be time to enjoy live music, dance and cuisine, both are reassuring to some.
But the essential part of the festivities, we know it consists of everything that revolves around the Patron, our Virgen de las Huertas.
Because I feel that she is much more than devotion, it is love that emerges as a powerful spring in our hearts, for it is she who pray, to whom we entrust Ella, Ella, in whom we trust.
To be here in the bright morning paquera receiving the loving gaze of the Virgin Mary, suffered eye and proud mother, is a sensation that enhances the soul and grips any penalty.
Therefore, I have you to thank, because it is an unforgettable experience for those who share with you the same feel and enjoy the same thrill that occurs when shoulder to shoulder, gently balanceáis neighbors to the patron saint, showing that she is alive in our hearts.
So I have to scream now VIVA LA VIRGEN DE LAS HUERTAS!
Through this opportunity you have given me I have to give all my heart, thanks.
May you, the neighbors, you have thought of me to make this proclamation me proud, and makes me think that the City Council, we are doing things right.
Thank you, guys, thanks.
I think it's time to end this proclamation, because, as one poet said, "the good, if brief, twice good" and also many things we have to do this morning, and enjoy snacks and start celebrating.
But I could not finish a speech in La Paca without congratulating neighborhood associations this council, so much and so well done to improve everything that happens in your town, be it my congratulations to the Neighborhood Association, Women, Seniors and Young, because his work does not fall on deaf ears and for all that carried considerably improved the streets and life in La Paca.
And all the neighbors, congratulations for everything you do, by this way we In accepting visitors and, ultimately, being as you are.
Thank you, thank you very much for trusting in me to make this proclamation, and that this holiday unforgettable.
VIVA LA VIRGEN DE LAS HUERTAS!
VIVA LA PACA!
LONG LIVE THE PAQUERA!
Thank you very much friends.
