The Socialist councilor Leoncio Collado said his group will vote favorably in the House, "liability" because the measure has the approval of CECLOR and Chamber of Commerce, but warns it will hurt entrepreneurs
Leoncio Collado socialist councilor today announced the vote, "liability" of his party's new ordinance to regulate the procedure for licensing of activities exempt from environmental qualification process and will be discussed at the Full Council next Monday.
Collado said that "we will not oppose" a measure that has the approval of CECLOR and Chamber of Commerce, but said the new policy is "unnecessary" and that it will increase red tape for business people who want to carry new initiatives.
In this regard, said that "the licenses should be granted in a fortnight will take over two months by imposing more paperwork and more hit."
Moreover, the Socialist councilor criticized the "extreme" slow processing of cases of the Urban Planning Department and requested the Consistory to streamline their services in connection with the licensing.
Collado said it is inconceivable that entrepreneurs have to endure the "waiting list", when the activity of the Urban Planning "has dropped to unsustainable levels" because of the crisis and also has more resources than ever.
The PSOE mayor assured agility problems have nothing to do with the "highly skilled" workers from the management but the "lack of political will" of the PP to streamline service management and to alleviate the excessive bureaucracy paralyzes the records for months.
