The Islamic Center of Lorca and the Union of Islamic Communities in Murcia (UCIDMurcia), organized on Sunday October 11 a conference briefing for representatives of Muslim communities in the Region of Murcia.
The meeting was held in the Market Garden of the Wheel, in the town of Lorca.
At the same representatives have visited communities in Lorca, Murcia, Cartagena, Yecla, Cehegín, Alguazas, Alhama, Puerto Lumbreras, Blanca, Cieza, Beniaján and Orihuela (Alicante).
The meeting started on Sunday 11 October at eleven o'clock with the reading of some verses of the Quran, after which he addressed the following agenda:
1 º.
Presentation of the school textbook on Islam 1 and 2 of primary school.
2 º.
Report on the legislation that protects the rights of Muslims in Spain.
3 º.
Complete information about the call for grants from the Foundation for Pluralism and Coexistence in 2010.
4 º.
Those issues of concern to the group, such as the make themselves known to the locals, the cemetery, the religion classes in public and private schools, etc.
5 º.

The meeting was attended by 40 people.
At the end of the meeting leaders of the Islamic Center of Lorca served the food, and after it invited those present to know the land which has recently acquired Lorca's Muslim community to the mosque BUILD Lorca.
