The three council members have refused this morning to attend a meeting of that body for which they were not provided "in a timely manner" the necessary documentation
Note from PSOE:
Leoncio Collado socialist councilor today announced that the Selectmen appointed to the Municipal Group Socialist members of the Council of the City Planning Department of Lorca, Diego Ferrer, Francisco Ruiz and himself have refused to attend this morning at a meeting of the body since the announcement was made Thursday "last minute" without material time to consult with officials and technical aspects "tricky" contained in the agenda.
Collins recalled that Friday's session was occupied by the extraordinary economic plenary, which prevented complete information "totally inadequate" provided by the Team, "because when we finished the various departments were closed."
Therefore, since the Socialists were asked to postpone the meeting 24 hours in order to study comprehensively the matters dealt with in the same request was rejected by the PP mayor, Francisco Jodar, who "with a cocky attitude tried to block our legitimate work of opposition, "said Collado.
In this regard, the Socialist councilor accused the team of the Government of "stonewalling, lack of transparency and trying to subjugate the main opposition party, forcing him to participate in a series of blind decision-making."
On the allegations of Town Planning, Francisco Garcia, on the non-attendance of the mayors of the PSOE to avoid voting against the abolition of licenses to polluters in Serrata, Collado Garcia said "lies conscience" because he knows that socialist "we committed ourselves to the neighbors from Rio to eliminate any industry these features and we would have voted if the mayor had the meeting postponed 24 hours as we ask."
For Collado Garcia demonstrations are a smokescreen for not entering "the truly serious."
So said the PP had tried to make the council of the Opposition "swallow" with "sloppy" performance of the government team in Torre del Obispo.
