The regional government has approved a grant of 118,000 euros to carry out the proposed implementation of a comprehensive performance and enhancement of the stretch of wall street Rambla de Lorca.

This is one of the longest paths medieval wall that exists throughout the Region of Murcia.

In this area there have been several archaeological excavations since 1991, now extended to other areas, which will complete the study and definition of the wall.

The wall of Lorca and the environment are considered with a Cultural Monument status.
