The works, which are invested over a hundred million pesetas (602,525 euros) shall return a water channel leading from the gorge of the Angles to Ramonete boardwalk through a breakwater.
In October 2000, an Ecuadorian woman and her two year old son died in the area when they were surprised by the water while traveling in a car.
Recently, a British citizen was also dragged by the water, but eventually escaped unhurt, although the output of the promenade of the priests stopped at first on the staff of Civil Protection and the local police access to the place where was the car.
