The Councillor for Education of the City of Lorca, José Joaquín Peñarrubia, inaugurated this morning the event organized by the Department of Language and Literature Secondary School and High School Prince of Asturias.
The Councillor for Education of the City of Lorca, José Joaquín Peñarrubia, inaugurated this morning the First Congress on Federico García Lorca organized by the Department of Language and Literature Institute of Education lorquino Secondary and Prince of Asturias.
This meeting, which will develop between 9:00 and 13:00 pm today and tomorrow in the Cultural Center of the City, is aimed at students of 2 º Bachillerato, actively participating in the conference as audience and as speakers .
The conference was divided into two parts being the first session, devoted to two lectures given by experts and the plans of La Casa de Bernarda Alba.
The second session was devoted to the presentation of papers by the students themselves who have registered for the Congress.
The Sun City Center will also participate actively in the exhibition.
The program for this seminar includes a display of art commemorating the conference made by the students.
Councilman emphasized that congratulated the promoters of the conference, "because initiatives like this invite young people to delve into the literature and culture in general."
The organization of the event is run by the students themselves, they have the coordination of Juan Carlos Lario, Diego Avila and Sergio Martinez.
