The Minister of Education, Training and Employment, Sotoca Constantine, and the Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, inaugurated this morning the classes that are 105 young people in seven professional fields.
The program has been funded to 336,508.13 Euros.
The Minister for Education, Training and Employment of the Autonomous Community Sotoca Constantine, and the Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, opened today at the Centre for Local Development of Lorca seven Initial Vocational Training Program (IPPP)-in particular seven Professional workshops - to be developed in the town this year.
Sotoca explained that there are seven public workshops to train a total of 105 young people in the fields of masonry, painter, plumbing, office assistant, welding, computers, catering and hairdressing.
With this training the students get in a year a certificate of qualification, which will facilitate their employment, and offered the possibility, with another year of study, to obtain the title of secondary education.
The Ministry invests 340,000 euros to develop professional workshops, which represents an effort on the previous year of 50,000 euros for PCPI in that mode.
These workshops are now 17 programs taught in the municipality and involving 250 young people.
Sotoca said "that the initiatives we put in place a clear example of collaboration between the city of Lorca and the Regional Government and of considerable benefit to the town, opening up new job opportunities to its citizens, now more than ever need a backup by all governments. "
Francisco Jodar has stressed the importance of continuing Lorca formed to address times of crisis facing the country.
