On Sunday November 29 Senderista Club de Lorca "La Carrasca" calls on all partners and anyone who wishes to participate in the "Arbor Day" activity organized for the second time.
All activities will take place in the environment of the farm "La Solana" in the Sierra de La Torrecilla, protected natural area under the cataloging of the European Union Special Protection Area for Birds (SPA).
Within the Club's founding objectives of Lorca Senderista reports the development of activities aimed at the protection, respect, understanding and improvement of natural areas in the municipality of Lorca, hence this new initiative.
The day will begin with a short and easy hiking route in the vicinity of the estate of "La Solana", near the shrine of PRADICAN, later to make the planting of various trees, mainly pines and oaks.
To finish the day attendees will be invited to enjoy a meal will be tasted as a main dish rice and rabbit.
Activity in various agencies working together as the General Directorate of Natural Heritage and Biodiversity of the Autonomous Region of Murcia, the Municipal Sports and Games (IMJUDE) and the Mountaineering Federation of Murcia.
