The Governing Council has approved the signing of an agreement between the Ministry of Social Policy, Women and Immigration and the Municipal Council of Social Services Lorca to implement a program of respite care in the environment of people with disabilities and dependent locality.

Under this agreement, the Ministry allocated 40,500 euros for the development of actions to support and home care for dependents and disabilities.

Assistance to families is to prevent work overload for family caregivers who are responsible for dependents, while leading to greater personal autonomy.
