Councilman Works and Services of the Municipality of Lorca, Angel Mecca, reported that the city council has invested 70,000 euros in the work aimed at expanding and improving the park in the hamlet of Tercia.
Mecca has indicated that it is a work that has been completed with the objective of providing all residents of the area a place for leisure and recreation, specifically oriented to the enjoyment of children.
We are talking about improving the site by placing 1,300 square meters of pavement, namely precast concrete pavers.
From the Department has opted to improve the lighting environment, for which we have proceeded with the installation of a dozen lampposts in 4 meters high, equipped with lights of 150 watts VSAO model.
Street lights that are equipped with reducing consumption, as is recommended for respect for the environment.
Angel Mecca was also noted that the improvement work has also seen the construction of a small module that will house a kiosk to the attention of the users of that park and toilets service, divided into two units, one of the which is specially equipped for use by persons with disabilities.
The module in question covers a whole area of 25 square meters.
