The Government Delegate in Murcia, Rafael González Tovar, along with the Social Policy Adviser, Women and Migration, Joaquín Bascuñana and the Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, have laid the first stone of the new Day Centre for the Elderly of the municipality provide 50 places for assistance, which will generate 26 jobs from the Plan E.

The building will be located on a plot of 950 square meters, one floor will have a gymnasium, multipurpose room, cabinet and dining room and three spacious courtyards that give great light and views of the construction.
Tovar Gonzalez stressed that the Law Unit is part of the policies of Zapatero's government to secure and strengthen the welfare state in Spain, implementing effective social policies to help people who have more difficulties.
EUR 11.6 million E Plan for dependents

Also conducted concerts of new services for dependent care and programs to improve the infrastructure of home help services and transportation services.

González Tovar also made clear that these 11.6 million euros in addition to the funding of Murcia citizens receive from the Government of Spain for the development of Law Unit.
