This agreement will allow the Department of Telecommunications Engineering of the University, in collaboration with the Planning Department, conduct a pilot study on this type of lighting in public buildings, using as reference the Merced Complex which houses the Management Planning, and similarly analyze the implementation of this type of outdoor lighting in rural areas.
The agreement arises under the concern that the equipment of the municipal government is saving energy and money in these times of crisis, and is a manifestation of its commitment to environmental conservation and sustainable development, within the broad framework that involve initiatives such as the Commitment of Alborg + 10 and the implementation of Agenda 21, among others.
