Councilman Internal Affairs of the City of Lorca, José Joaquín Peñarrubia, has reported that the city council will open its doors on Tuesday evenings and Thursday from the second week of January.
This is an action included in the Modernization Plan, Citizen Proximity and designed by the municipality with the fundamental objective that Lorca can use the various services of the Town Council is open mornings and afternoons.
Peñarrubia has detailed the first services to be operational in the afternoon will be the most requested by citizens, such as the town hall, including the registry service, Tax Management, Cadastre, Statistics and Planning.
José Joaquín Peñarrubia has indicated that it is the first time in the history of democracy that the City opened the services with the bureaucracy in the afternoon, and the opening of these sections will be expanded to other municipalities.
The council has explained that the opening of these departments will benefit both the citizen, who can do their transactions in a wider timetable, and the staff of the council, which will have the option to better reconcile work and family life, and which may carry their working day out on a new turn.
Peñarrubia has indicated that the schedule is set for Tuesday and Thursday from 5 to 7 and a half ago.
