The Councillor for Culture of the Municipality of Lorca, Rosa Medina, and the president of the fairground of Lorca, Rafael González, have been delivered to the President of the Assembly Local Red Cross Lorca, Juan Carlos Ruiz, 60 scooters to help deliver of toys that the Magi from the East made for needy children in the municipality.
Ruiz thanked this new support of the Consistory and collective solidarity actions fairground Red Cross, and especially the campaign to collect toys for the Red Cross Youth.
For its part, Rosa Medina congratulated the fairground Association of Lorca for their cooperation in this joint initiative and the NGO in the constant work they do.
The beneficiaries of the "No child without a toy" are those derived after reports of social workers and Red Cross itself technicians City Council Social Services on the status of families need applicants
