The Municipal Socialist Group spokesman and secretary general of the PSOE in Lorca, Diego Ferrer, has urgently requested the convening of a meeting between the political parties represented in the City and those affected by the demarcation of Calnegre tips.
Ferra has released a document dated September 29, 2009, where the Ministry of Environment and Rural and Marine is offered explicitly to "collaborate" with the city offering "full support" by "contributing resources" through its programs of action for the sustainability of the coast, to find a solution to those affected by the demarcation.
According to the Ministry, the General Plan of the municipality is the appropriate tool to resolve the current situation and offers an "excellent opportunity" through the mechanisms of urban management.
In that sense, Ferra said, "is demonstrated will of the Ministry to solve the problem."
However, he regretted that the PP mayor, Francisco Jodar, "take a year sleeping on their laurels" and has not taken steps to relocate the houses.
The Socialist leader denounced the "ineffectiveness" of the Mayor and the lack of sensitivity to a problem that is in the air to those affected.
In that sense, it was asked "to what is expected to begin moving Jódar and comply with the part that touches on this issue."
