The City Council of Women of the Municipality of Lorca, Antonia Lopez, has reported that from today until 12:00 pm on March 1 unpublished photographs may be submitted to participate in the sixth photo contest "Daily life of women" , organized annually by the Municipal Council of Women of Lorca and whose theme any aspect to convey an image of the everyday life of women and gender equality principles.
This edition will be awarded 3 first prizes (300, 200 and 150 euros) and a second prize (50 euros), either in color or black and white.
Lopez explained that "may be submitted to this contest as many people wish it, bearing in mind that the photographs may only be submitted by their authors.
Each entrant may submit between three and five photographs.
Photographs must not have been awarded or recognized or selected other events. "
Applications must be submitted or sent to the offices of the Municipal Council of Women, in C / Selgas, 29, of Lorca indicating "6 º Photo Contest on Women", for that photographs be submitted on photographic paper, and must be mounted or reinforced in media (cardboard, passepartout, etc.) of 40x50 cm.
The photographs have a minimum size of 15 x 20 cm.
and up to 30 x 40 cm.
Photographic collections in digital format, they must also be accompanied by a copy on CD.
On the back of each photograph shall include the title of the work and number of the photo inside the library.
In a separate envelope, blank and closed to introduce into the envelope sent to the collection, which include a sheet show as Title, number of the photograph, the name of the author, the DNI or passport of the author, the author's address and telephone number, and the place where the photo was taken (specify the municipality and those other data identifying the image enough.)
The jury will consist of several municipal technicians belonging to the Municipal Council of Women, Culture and People's University.
The jury will evaluate the different collections on display and to prepare a report containing its decision before March 8, 2010.
All winning works (the three first prizes and the runners-up) will become the property of the Municipal Council of Women.
In any of the uses that the City Council of Women made of them, appear above the author.
The participants in the contest photos may be used to perform a temporary exhibition on the photography exhibition.
The winning authors will not withdraw their original written personally or through delegation initialed and with reference to the DNI or Passport.
The deadline to withdraw the works shall be two calendar months after the ruling made public.
