According to the Socialist councilor, Leoncio Collado, PP Mayor, Francisco Jodar can not forget that 70% of resources to combat unemployment "are handled by the region" and berated him their "little war" to President Valcárcel "which is much closer and in his hand most of the solutions."

Leoncio Collado socialist councilor has said that Lorca undergoes a "social bleeding" because of unemployment which, every day, "ten Lorca and Lorca are going to stop."

Collado reported that the average age of the unemployed is between 25 and 45 years and 85% does not exceed the level of secondary education so sure that "unemployment is to prey upon people who have a lower education."

The PSOE mayor also reported that unemployment in the construction sector remains "stable" with about 1,600 people and expressed his concern over the increase in unemployment in the hospitality industry and commerce where, with 827 unemployed, "the numbers grow dangerously. "

For Collins, these data mean "sustained failure of active employment policies that rely on City Hall" and lamented, that month after month, the Mayor of the PP, Francisco Jodar, "so tiresome repeat the refrain that the fault is the Government, but never accept responsibility or put to work to solve this drama. "

In line with the socialist mayor asked Jódar do not forget that 70% of resources to combat unemployment "are handled by the region" and berated him their "little war" to President Valcárcel "which is much closer and in his hand most of the solutions. "

Collado lamented the paralysis in the development of industry, commerce and tourism as main facilitators and diversifying the local economy and recalled that in nearly three years the "pompous" Mayor announcements of major investment in the municipality "have not yet created a single job. "

The socialist mayor also said the Bureau of Local Employment "is worthless" while he said that on the few calls for this body, "some of their representatives only feel impotent" for its "ineffectiveness and its lack of effectiveness."

On the training offer, Collado regretted that it is insufficient, that does not fit the sectors that are generating more jobs and those related to environment and development of renewable energy, while the City Council requested that the companies should agree the completion of those courses more optimistic about the placement of workers.

He said that in the former socialist stage 60% of the beneficiaries of training municipal "working out" and today that figure "hardly exceeds 6%."

Finally, Collado called "new ways" to coordinate "effective" between the Council, unions and employers so that they look past "encouraged and motivated" to generate wealth in Lorca.

He also reiterated the willingness of the PSOE for a great local pact for employment "because it is clear that the Mayor is not getting anything going for free."
