Active Lorca ADHD association and the Department of Education and the Municipality of Lorca University have launched a plan of orientation and training for parents to partner with children who have Attention Deficit Disorder with or without Hyperactivity (ADHD) .
This plan includes the completion of five workshops designed to help improve the lives of these children through techniques of behavior modification, communication skills and conflict resolution, and the acquisition of skills aimed also to parents restore the ability of management behavior.
Workshops will be held on Mondays from 20.30 in the building The Norica (former Planning Department) and start the next day 15, with the first session prior information, observation and analysis of behavior, the second and third talk techniques to learn or improve behavior, the fourth workshop on strategies to deal with stress, relationship skills and the last workshop will focus on developing strategies to solve common problems, including techniques to reduce behaviors.
With this project we will contribute to improving the lives of these children and adolescents through behavior modification techniques, communication skills and conflict resolution.
At the same time, the driver of this improvement the focus on the acquisition of parenting skills to restore the capacity to manage the child's behaviors and improve their quality of life.
