The Socialist Party today reiterated its support for neighborhood residents of San Lázaro Lorca suffered damage to their homes which they attribute to the blasts carried out in the refurbishment of tunnels on the motorway A-7.
The PSOE recall that in recent weeks the Office of the Municipal Socialist Group has managed shipments to the Ministry of Development of the documentation of the residents concerned and has had several meetings with the Government Delegation in the Region of Murcia on this issue.
Through a statement, the PSOE also requests the City of Lorca technical instructions to the municipal authorities to issue, if applicable, the reports linking the damage to homes to work in the tunnels, "because that would greatly expedite reparations and compensation which may correspond to the neighbors. "
They regretted that the City "is playing with the misfortune of those neighbors and that is hindering the resolution of this problem by mere electoral interest."
Therefore demanded that the PP Mayor, Francisco Jodar expedite all paperwork needed to find solutions, "as it is doing the government's delegate" instead of "running with his arms crossed."
For its part, a committee of representatives of those affected have asked the PSOE to participate in a joint meeting with other political parties represented in Parliament, a proposal that the Socialists have accepted.
