The director general of Department, María José Jiménez, along with the councilman of Education Lorca, José Joaquín Peñarrubia have provided solutions to the education of college students lorquina deputation of Directors at a meeting today with the director center, Isabel Blanco, with representatives of the Parents Association and President of the FAPA of Lorca.
The solution proposed by María José Jiménez is the continuity of schooling for students in the current Infant school and the transfer of students from primary to a facility adjacent to it, such as asking for parents.
This would be a temporary transfer until the City of Lorca yield to the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment of appropriate sites to place portable classrooms, where students will stay until replacement of the center.
In addition, the Center Director assured the parents that the Ministry will take the proposed replacement of the school to the Monitoring Committee of the Compact for Education, responsible for planning of works in the network of schools in the region.
Jimenez, who said "the meeting was held in a cordial atmosphere," noted that this solution will be exposed today to the parents of the center, at a general meeting to hold with representatives of AMPA.
