The regional government has authorized the Ministry of Social Policy, Women and Immigration to conclude a hundred places for care of elderly or dependent residential home in downtown Alameda, Lorca.
For this, the regional government allocated a budget of 2.7 million euros to this initiative, which will provide coverage to the residential needs of both this city and other parts of the Region, and that those seats previously held by private , go now to join the network of residential places supported with public funds from the Community of Murcia.
The aim is to meet the needs of comprehensive care for elderly dependents.
Residents will have the basic services of accommodation, meals, laundry and personal care and other social care.
There will also be occupational and rehabilitation programs.
