The City Council of Women, Antonia Lopez, opened the exhibition and awarded the first prize for photography Rafael Fernández Rodríguez, the second prize for Julian Mora García, the third to Javier Mora García and two runners to Castillejo Almudena Sánchez and Ricardo Lucena Huerta.
The City Council of Women of the Municipality of Lorca, Antonia Lopez, yesterday inaugurated the photo exhibition organized by Women's Art and the Municipal Council of Women in the Palacio de Guevara, on the occasion of March 8, which runs until 31 March.
The exhibition hosts 104 photographs from 27 collections, presented by 20 Lorca, a citizen of another municipality in the region and six outside the Community, which this year have been submitted to V Photo Contest on Women "Everyday Life of Women ".
In addition, we present 55 works from 27 collections of Lorca artists who have responded to the call of the Department of Women, mostly painting, different techniques and themes.
In the same act, presented the awards of that photo contest whose first prize of 300 euros, has been awarded this year Rafael Fernández Rodríguez, whose collection, in addition to its photographic quality, we send a clear message modern women, characterized by a trilogy of its power of being a mother, worker and partner.
The delicacy with which it presents, unless two of these conditions may be matched, but hardly overcome.
The second prize of 200 euros, was awarded to Julian Garcia Mora, who competed with a collection that presents us with photographic techniques and methods that today very few people use them, but they are that good art aficionados photography aspire to approach, and very few succeed.
The subject is presented to us three cultures and religions, where, to spend the progress occurred, even women are relegated to the tasks of protecting the home and family members.
Message confronts us with a social reality of women, for some outdated, but still persists.
In third place with 150 euros acknowledged the work presented by Javier Perez Avila, instead giving us another sense of the reality of women, in which raw heterogeneity.
It is a technically uneven collection in which the light of some of his shots, is frankly very well achieved.
Finally, two second prizes were awarded, one Castillejo Almudena Sanchez and another Lucena Ricardo Huerta.
