The new collector has received an investment of over € 400,000
The Minister of Agriculture and Water, Antonio Cerdá, and the mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar, today opened the new collector located on the site sanitation lorquino of Carranza's Corner.
This infrastructure will serve a population of fifty people, whose homes will be connected to the sewerage network.

The works have involved the installation of a major pipeline infrastructure that collects wastewater from the area and leads to the junction with the sewage tendrils of Ramos.
The new collector, 2.3 kilometers long, is part of a Comprehensive Sanitation Plan Lorca "very ambitious" that the Ministry develops in these times of large treatment plants are already built.

This plan foresees an investment of 100 million euros to develop in this and coming years.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Water has submitted for publication in the Official Gazette a new set of projects amounting to 12 million euros.

The owner of Agriculture and Water recalled that 2010 is the year of collectors, with the construction of fifty of such infrastructure in 15 municipalities of the Region of Murcia.
