The Ministry of Culture and Tourism, through the Directorate General of Tourism, has worked in a series of conferences under the title "Promotion of Jewish Culture in Spain ', upon the discovery of ancient Jewish quarter and synagogue of the hill del Castillo.
The lecture series organized by Lorca Taller del Tiempo, was funded by the revitalization plan of the tourism product of Lorca and central administrations, regional and local levels.
In this initiative the Foundation has also worked Beitenud Sefarad.
The conferences have developed during the first quarter of 2010 from January 11 to March 8 at the Cistern of the sea wall at the Fort of the Sun
This action, along with excavations in the Jewish Quarter and exposure lights Safar Lorca, has made another contribution to the interpretation of Jewish culture from a historical, cultural and tourism.
