Lidón Morales stressed the import of this center, which has placed Lorca as a reference of the equestrian world both in the Region of Murcia and in neighboring provinces.
During the visit has highlighted the remarkable increase in the equine in the municipal Lorca, recalling also that Lorca today has the largest number of equine animals throughout the region.
Insemination Center, with the authorization state and community code EN-13-01-E, is running this season since Feb. 22 and will remain open until June 16, coinciding with the time of increased susceptibility of females to be in a state horse.
Until today we have proceeded to the covering of a total of 22 mares, a high number when you consider that the normal period of mounts does not start until the beginning of spring.
The operation of the Centre, which is known among fans of the equestrian world as "Stop" and "Traces" is based on the receipt of the copies that will be covered from 8 ½ to 10 in the morning, the process of ultrasonography to know the natural predisposition of the animal to become pregnant.
If the result is satisfactory, the animal stays in the above mentioned boarding until mating can proceed.

3 PRE stallion, 1 PRA PRA and a Donkey
This year the Centre offers horse breeders and enthusiasts 3 Pure Spanish stallions (PRE), 1 Thoroughbred stallion Arabic (PRA) and a Donkey Purebred Andalusian (PRA).
