The secretary general of the PSOE, Diego Ferra, recalled that the work should be completed on 31 December and that the City had to request an extension of four months, "which is about to run" when there are projects that "have hardly begun ".

The secretary general of the PSOE in Lorca, Diego Ferra, said today that the team has sought an extension of Local Government for the implementation of 50% of the projects funded under the Plan E 2009, while the average for other municipalities in the region stands at 16%.

According to the socialist leader this shows a lack of planning and control of work by the PP that is affecting a stretch "unnecessary and damaging" the same for residents of affected areas.
