Alderman Library of the City of Lorca, José Joaquín Peñarrubia, has reported that the 24th and 25th of March, in an activity called "Encounters with author of" organized by public libraries in collaboration with the Editorial Everest, will have the presence of the writer and illustrator Carmen García Iglesias, who will talk about her book "Matthew and Roman and Wasabi case."
The author talks in the Children's Library, with nearly 400 primary school students of various schools, during school hours tomorrow.
Carmen García Iglesias has a degree in Art History (Universidad Complutense de Madrid), and has studied commercial art at the School of Applied Arts and Crafts in Madrid.
From 1990 to 1996 held the child supplement "Alfredo Club" in THE WEEKLY Sunday, also made the Mini-book section in the Child Supplement of the daily miniworld THE WORLD (1996), collaboration in the small country with sections " Pets "and" Everything you wanted to know about ..."; the realization of children's pages ("Little Things") of the journal SANITAS, etc.
