The Councillor for Social Policy and Migration of the City of Lorca, Lali Ibarra, this morning the new "A 3 Bands, leisure and cultural training for young people between 13 and 18, who has launched the Municipal Council Social Services in the district of Los Angeles.
Ibarra has reported that this project will be conducted between April and June, offering activities and times vary according to the age of the participants.
Thus, children aged between 13 and 16 years may participate two days a week and afternoon workshops for educational support, new technologies (web page creation and blogging, virtual games, social networking), various sports, dance and acting and outdoor activities, among which are the Hip-Hop and graffiti.
For their part, young people aged 16 to 18 who are not studying official may elect to receive in the mornings from Monday to Friday special training in the area of new technologies or renewable energy, they can open doors the working world.
Enrollment in recreational and educational activities of this new social and professional integration program, which also includes among its objectives the prevention of truancy, is free and can be done in the Multipurpose Center for Social Action (Los Angeles Avenue in Los Angeles n º 35, low) or call 968467754.
This program also provides for social participation and support personal and family counseling to participants who require it through intercultural mediators.
The "A 3 Bands joins the large number of local initiatives to encourage younger people do not suffer from the lack of training in a future job search process, while promoting social behavior and coexistence between different cultures that enrich our town.
